From Ayr, take the A713 towards Dalmellington. The Scottish Industrial Railway Centre is located at Dunaskin, Waterside, between Patna and Dalmellington, 10 miles from the A77. Look out for the two big chimneys, and you're there !

Admission to the site is by ticket purchased at the start of your visit. This gives access to all the attractions and unlimited rides on the Brake Van. Please Note - cash sales only, we are unable to accept card payments of any type at this time.

Children aged three and under : FREE
Family (Two adults and three children) : £16.00
From Ayr Bus Station, take the Stagecoach 52 to Dalmellington. The nearest stop is right at our road end, at Dunaskin, only two minutes walk from the Scottish Industrial Railway Centre.
ScotRail runs frequent trains to Ayr from Glasgow, Kilmarnock, Stranraer and Girvan. From Ayr, take the Stagecoach bus number 52 to Dalmellington. Note the bus proceeds by way of Burns Statue Square, just outside Ayr Railway Station.
